I'm an Assistant Professor of Robotics and Mechanical Engineering and direct the Manipulation and Machine Intelligence MMINT lab. I am broadly interested in Inference, Modeling, Control, and Learning algorithms applied to Robotic Manipulation, the science and art of robots interacting with their world.
Prior to joining Michigan, I was a member of the MCube Lab, directed by Prof. Alberto Rodriguez.
Prior to MIT, I was an MSc student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland at College Park, were I (mostly) worked on system identification and modeling of the human arterial tree and the pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics of the human body.
I have a BSc from Amirkabir University of Technology, were I worked on adaptive and nonlinear control and identification of vehicle engines.
